On February 18, 2026, Board Members of the AHC had the opportunity to attend a fundraising event in support of Congresswoman Ashley Hinson, who is currently running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Joni Ernst. The event took place at a private estate in the Orange Coast area of Orange County and brought together a number of prominent political figures and community leaders.

Among those in attendance were Congresswoman Young Kim and congressional candidate Chuong Vo, who is running in California’s 45th Congressional District.

Building on a prior meeting with Congresswoman Kim in June, we had the opportunity to reconnect and further strengthen our relationship. During the event, we engaged in constructive discussions with both Congresswoman Kim and Mr. Vo, focusing on key issues of importance to Greece and Cyprus, as well as broader areas of mutual interest.

We also had the opportunity to speak with Congresswoman Hinson, sharing perspectives on Hellenic and Cypriot matters and reinforcing the importance of continued engagement with policymakers.

The event proved to be highly productive, allowing us to expand our network, deepen existing relationships, and establish new connections with individuals who may play an important role in future congressional and senatorial leadership.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and building on these relationships in the months ahead.
