Live Greek Music and Dance at LMU – An APOKRIA afternoon

Join us for an afternoon filled with live Greek music performed by local musicians and dancing at The Living Room (Malone Student Center, 1st floor) for the Sunday of Apokria (the Greek carnival), one of the most beloved Greek traditions. Apokria (literally apo-kreo: away from meat) marks the beginning of Lent (Sarakosti).Organized by Prof. Alexandros Kyriakidis and his class Modern Greek History, Society, and Culture with the participation of LMU’s Hellenic Cultural Club (HCC), the event is open to the community.
