On April 9, 2011, the American Hellenic Council honored Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) with the Pericles Award. **Unfortunately, the honoree was not able to accept the award in person but Mike Manatos accepted the award in her place in Los Angeles and met with her afterwards in Washington D.C. to present it to her in person. This is the video of the award ceremony and the Mike Manatos' speech as well as a videographed personal message that the honoree sent us to present at the ceremony.
