Peter Polydor

Peter Polydor has been an active entrepreneur, market analyst and policy advisor. Peter is a Vice President at SAIL Venture Partners (“SAIL”) where he focuses on global cleantech networks, portfolio company acceleration, operations and new investment opportunities.

Prior to SAIL, Peter worked with a Citigroup private wealth management group conducting due diligence on potential investments in the public alternative energy space. On the policy side, Peter's experience includes the US House of Representatives, where he focused on energy policy on a domestic and international level. Peter has also worked for the Apollo Alliance, a national not-for-profit organization based in San Francisco, CA that promotes American companies in the green economy.

Besides the American Hellenic Council, Peter serves on a number of other non-profit boards, and has spoken at several universities on Cleantech and Sustainable investment. Currently, Peter serves on the CleanTechOC Outreach Committee and is a Charter Member of the Canadian C100. He is a graduate of Occidental College where he earned a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Energy Policy. Peter is a dual citizen of Greece and Canada and is able to converse in both Spanish and Greek.
