Tina MylonasConstantina (Tina) K. Mylonas, CFE

Member of the Board of Directors

Tina Mylonas is a senior consultant in the FTI Corporate Finance practice and is based in Los Angeles.  Recently, Ms. Mylonas completed several large restructuring engagements with the Latin American group for companies based in Mexico. This involved attending and leading meetings in Spanish, taking ownership of the analysis of a specific business segment and building the corresponding models and/or Access databases, as well as creating store by store quadrant analyses where appropriate. As one of the youngest staff members, Ms. Mylonas was given progressively more responsibility with each engagement, which most currently included creating the master template for subsidiary analysis, compiling all schedules and analyses on a consolidated level, and building a model to implement adjustments to the Company’s projected financials.

In early 2009, Ms. Mylonas transferred from FTI’s Forensic Litigation Financial Consulting practice where she began her career in the fall of 2005. One of her last and most involved projects was a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violation case that required the assessment of transactional compliance with company operating procedures and more importantly with the FCPA. As initially the only staff on this engagement, she had the opportunity to build and maintain an Access database, which entailed importing Excel data, creating various reports, determining the appropriate review fields and criteria, and running statistical tests. In working closely with the managing director, Ms. Mylonas was given the opportunity to lead meetings with counsel, conduct client site interviews, oversee the FTI team, and comprise sections in the final report to the DOJ.

Other key projects include an insurance fraud engagement that involved determining the refund amounts due to the affected insured as well as interpreting and calculating relevant losses, a historical trust accounting engagement that entailed a data completeness validation, as well as a business fraud engagement that necessitated a comprehensive damages analysis. Ms. Mylonas has also served as a mock expert witness in Latham & Watkins LLP’s annual deposition training.

In prior experience, Ms. Mylonas interned at GC3 & Associates International, LLC where she assisted the consultants with client analysis.  Through the utilization of research databases, business plans, and client interviews, she was able to develop prospective client presentations to facilitate the consultants in their private investment decisions and business strategy solutions. Ms. Mylonas also interned for Kathrine Baumann Beverly Hills where she assisted in managing the production of the couture line by aiding with tech support, maintaining direct contact with clients, overseeing the production process, and translating between the CEO and various foreign manufacturers.

Ms. Mylonas graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and International Economics with a specialization in Europe.  She also has an intermediate level accounting background and is fluent in Spanish and Greek.
